Debjit Mukherjee: China has discriminated against Indians. They do not comply with the Olympic Charter. This is how Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur slammed over the three athletes of Arunachal Pradesh for not getting visas for the Asian Games. Incidentally, he has also canceled his visit to China to oppose this behavior.
He said, “You can see that I did not go to China. Because I want to stand by the country’s athletes. China has discriminated against Indian athletes. They do not comply with the Olympic Charter. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable.”
