Kerala municipal by-elections: Despite victory, Left worried about BJP’s rise

News Desk: In the Kerala municipal by-elections, candidates from the CPM-led LDF alliance have won 24 out of 42 wards, Congress-led UDF alliance won 12 and BJP won 6.

However, even after victory, the CPM is under a bit of pressure as two wards which were under CPM, have been taken over by the BJP this time. The Left has lost its majority in the municipality as a result of losing two seats. The Kerala BJP sees this result as a success. The saffron camp also claimed that BJP will get great results in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Kerala.
