News Desk: The Yogi Mantri Parishad has agreed to such a proposal that “new madrasas will not be given government grants”. It is learned that the final decision has been taken on Tuesday.
In the last financial year, the Yogi government has set a budget of Rs 479 crores for modernisation of madrasas . On Monday, the Yogi government decided that the new madrasas will not be given government grants.
The process of giving government grants to madrasas was started by former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.
