Mamata Banerjee gave job appointment letter to the families of the dead Corona fighters

News Desk: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee kept her promise by handing over job appointment letter to the families of the dead Corona fighters on the occasion of Police Day. It was handed over to families of 20 corona fighters.
 
Among the 20 families are the families of 6 state police personnel, the families of 6 Kolkata police personnel, the families of 4 health workers and the personnel of the personnel department who have recently passed away.
 
Mamata Banerjee said that 613 policemen and officers of the state have fallen ill due to corona. 22 of them died. All of them have been given a lump sum of Rs 10 lakh and one person has been given a job. And the policemen who have recovered are being given 1 lakh rupees. She also inaugurated 3 new police stations and announced to promote the junior constables of Jangalmahal directly to full constables and he salary of the home guard of Kolkata police would be increased by Rs 2,040. He also promised a bonus of Rs 2,000 for Civic Volunteers, Village Police and Asha workers.
