Bomb explosion in Nodakhali, BJP blames TMC

News Desk: Political slugfest continued unabated over a blast in South 24 Parganas district’s Nodakhali in Diamond Harbour area, where three people died in bomb explosion today.

Three persons died in the blast in a makeshift fireworks factory. Ashim Mondal had set up the factory at his home. At around 4 am in the morning, in a major blast, Asim Mondal, her aunt and his worker in the factory Atithi Mondal died. The roof of the house was blown off during the blast.

The opposition BJP is up in arms with the issue. BJP LoP Suvendu Adhikari said that this district has become the hub of JMB activities and jihadis from Bangladesh. Adhikari said that AITC led local administration hand in glove with the perpetrators.

Adhikari even took to twitter and said, “Gory horrific images emanating from Budge Budge; South 24 Pargana; where an illegal explosive factory got destroyed due to explosion. People died, houses destroyed, areas terrorised. This district has become the hub of JMB and jehadis from Bangladesh”.

BJP National Vice-President Dilip Ghosh claimed that the area is a hotbed of crime and even marred by post-poll violence incidents. “The South 24 Parganas district is a hub of criminal activities. There were several cases of post-poll violence in this district. This kind of explosion reminds us that West Bengal is on a heap of explosives. We have seen similar incidents in Khagragarh and several other places. The accused should punished” Ghosh demanded.
