News Desk: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote a song to pay respect to the West Bengal Police on Police Day on September 6, 2020.
Initially the police day was supposed to be celebrated on September 1 but unable to take place due to the sad demise of former President Pranab Mukherjee.
Since the police sacrificed their happiness and well being and put their lives at risk to save the lives of common people, so Mamata Banerjee decided to pay them respect by writing a song for them. And initially the song was written in English but later in Bengali and it will be sung by Indranil Sen, Minister of State for Information, Culture and Tourism.
