News Desk: PM Modi has been heard repeatedly campaigning for the success of Swachh Bharat. But is this Swachh Bharat successful at all? The National Family Health Survey says the opposite.
The survey found that about 26 per cent of Indians, or about 35 crore people, still defecate in public, with BJP-ruled Bihar topping the list. About 44% of people in Bihar still defecate in the open. Then there is Tamil Nadu. About 34% of people still defecate in the open in Tamil Nadu.
