News Desk: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of CID on Monday used drone imagery to map the area around Jorpatki booth in Sitalkuchi where the killings took place. The SIT spent over an hour in the morning while Mathabhanga police assisted them in sealing the area.
Sources said that the SIT questioned six witnesses, including two women who were key to the case, and the minor who was allegedly beaten up by the CISF in a precursor to the firing incident. They added that the SIT is likely to stay in Cooch Behar for some more time.
