News Desk: Amidst the political crisis in Maharashtra, West Bengal’s leader of opposition and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari made a controversial comment in a rally in Coochbehar district on Tuesday.
He said “First, let this situation in Maharashtra be resolved. Then it will be Jharkhand and Rajasthan’s turn. After that, comes West Bengal. TMC will also meet the same fate. This government won’t last till 2026; this government will be ousted by 2024”.
His remarks drew sharp reactions from the TMC and they alleged that BJP is making desperate bids to capture power.
