West Bengal: TMC to stage protest in front of the ED and CBI office in Kolkata against BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari

Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: West Bengal’s ruling party TMC will hold protests in Haldia and Contai and in front of the ED and CBI office in Kolkata against BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari over his alleged involvement in corruption on Monday. An eight-member delegation of the ruling party led by Bratya Basu will meet Governor Jagdeep Dhankar on Tuesday at 11:30 am regarding this.

On Friday, TMC Spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said Sudipto Sen, the prime accused in the Saradha scam, in his prisoner’s petition, mentioned that Suvendu Adhikari had blackmailed him and took money from him in order to save the Saradha accused from SEBI notice.
