Former Army Chief VK Singh has made controversial remarks regarding Agneepath scheme

News Desk: The youth of the country have erupted in protest against the Agneepath scheme of the Union Ministry of Defense. A number of recruitment rules have also been changed. Former Army Chief VK Singh has made controversial remarks in this regard.

Speaking at a function in Nagpur, he said, “Soldiers cannot be made”. A person can be a soldier only if he has his own will. He added “If anyone wants to, he can join the army voluntarily. If you don’t like the Agneepath project, there is no need to join this project. Who told you to join the army? ”

He did not stop here. Referring to the nationwide protests, he said “Buses and trains are burning. Has anyone said that those who are doing these things will be given a chance in the army? It takes some qualifications to work in the army. Only then will you get the opportunity”. The Air Force has already said that employment is not possible under Agneepath scheme if they protest. Discussions have also started on whether VK Singh said the same thing.
