“Amit Shah is hatching a conspiracy to harass TMC leaders”: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

News Desk: Addressing a rally in Bankura, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee claimed that if BJP comes to power in the state people will lose all their rights and they would also close all banks in the state.

She said “If BJP comes to power, you will lose all your rights, all banks will close. They have shut down all factories across the nation”

“There are so many union ministers sitting in Kolkata shamelessly. They did not come at the time of Covid crisis or Cyclone Amphan aftermath. Narendra Modi did not help [the state] with a single rupee during the Covid crisis. I will not let outside goons overtake elections” she added.

The chief minister also accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of hatching conspiracy to harass the TMC leaders.

“Amit Shah is getting frustrated as there is a poor turnout at his rallies. Instead of running the country, he is sitting in Kolkata and hatching a conspiracy to harass TMC leaders. What do they want? Do they want to kill me? Do they think that they will win this election by killing me? They are wrong. They know Mamata cannot be stopped. They have sent a notice to state home secretary in an old Nandigram case. What are you doing Amit Shah? Is Amit Shah running the Election Commission? He is interfering with day-to-day work” she said.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also took a dig at her arch rival on the rising fuel prices. “If we can distribute food free of cost, if we can make Sasthyasathi free of cost, then, why cannot we make gas free. Why you are not minimising the price of petrol and diesel?”

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also seen chanting her poll slogan ‘Khela Hobe’. “If the BJP is thinking that they can win by breaking one of my legs, then they don’t know that I can play with just one leg. The BJP leaders conducted an overnight meeting yesterday on why people are not coming to their meetings. What can I do about this? It is because you torture people” she said.
