Natun Gati, Malda: A massive public meeting was organized at Sujapur Hatimari Maidan in Kaliachak on the initiative of Malda District Trinamool Congress. Abhishek Banerjee was the main speaker in the public meeting. Also present were State Minister Sabina Yasmin, Malda District Trinamool Congress President and MLA Abdur Rahim Bakshi, MLA Samar Mukherjee, MLA Chandana Sarkar, Savitri Mitra, former State Minister and State Trinamool Congress Committee Vice President Krishnendu Narayan Chowdhury, Trinamool leader Dulal Sarkar and other district Trinamool Congress leaderships.
Trinamool Congress candidates of 43 constituencies of Malda District Council were present in this public meeting. Trinamool Congress candidates from various Gram Panchayats and Panchayat Samiti of the district were also present.
From the public meeting Abhishek Banerjee attacked all the rival parties of the state. He said “Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is the biggest agent of BJP. He has no faith in didi’s police. He never raised voice against the anti-people policies of the center”.
Attacking the Modi government, he said “PM Modi failed to keep his promises. But didi gave Bengal all she promised before elections in the form of Kanyashree, Lakshmir Bhandar”. He also urged people of Malda to make TMC win and all their promises will be fulfilled.
