Natun Gati, Malda: Rezaul Karim alias Babu Bakshi, son of Malda District Trinamool president Abdur Rahim Bakshi, is now in the spotlight after becoming TMC candidate in the Panchayat elections. Panchayat election is knocking at the door and before that, Babu has hit the field with his father. Sometimes on foot, sometimes in road meetings and sometimes they visit people at their doorstep to campaign.
Babu said, “I took basic lessons in politics from my father. So I want to win this war holding my father’s hand. I have got my father on my side. I am sure about our victory.”
On the other hand, Malda District Trinamool president Abdur Rahim Bakshi said, “I campaigned booth by booth, not as a father, but as a Trinamool Congress soldier. My son got the ticket with his own skills. I’m confident about his victory.”
