News Desk: BJP Mahila Morcha President Agnimitra Paul ended up giving a controversial statement at an event in East Midnapore on Tuesday. Paul said “A 6-year-old child was raped in Malda two days ago. A seven-eight year old child has been raped in Tarakeswar. And in most cases, the rapist is a Trinamool activist”
She directly attacked the TMC party and added “Didimoni has said, if you feel for it, go and rape. I have failed to give you jobs so go and rape for entertainment. She has said ‘go rape, I’ll compensate”
Senior TMC leader Firhad Hakim reacted to this comment of Paul. He said “West Bengal is not Uttar Pradesh. A rape victim’s dead body is burnt there without family’s consent. If she has the courage, let her go and say all this in Yogi Adityanath’s state”
