News Desk: Addressing a rally in Hooghly on Thursday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of indulging in goondaism. She appealed to the voters to not to bow head before central forces.
She said “The entire country is weeping under the BJP rule. BJP is only indulging in goondaism. Do you want Bengal to turn into Gujarat? We need to save Bengal this time”
“I don’t blame the central forces, but the home ministry is responsible. They are going into the villages and seeking votes for BJP. If the forces threaten you, do not bow before them” she appealed to the voters.
She added “I urge my brothers and sisters to remain vigilant on the eve of polling. Women will play a crucial role in our victory this time”
