News Desk: “BJP-ruling states has received most loans from the Center during the Modi era” the Union Finance Ministry said in response to a question from TMC MPs Shantanu Sen and Abir Ranjan Biswas in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
BJP-ruling Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are in the top ten in the list of recipients for the just-concluded financial year. There is also NDA-ruling Bihar.
From 2014 to March 31, 2021, the Center will receive Rs 30,663.07 crore from Madhya Pradesh. Third in the list is Karnataka. Other three states are DMK-ruling Tamil Nadu, Congress-ruling Rajasthan and BJP’s ally YSR Congress-ruling Andhra Pradesh.
