News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, on Thursday, attended the felicitation ceremony of meritorious students virtually from the Nabanna. More than 1600 were invited and laptops were given to each by her.
She said “The Student Credit Card has been started”. Earlier students have been given tabs so that they can continue with their studies, even in the Corona situation.
On Thursday, she also inaugurated the Taruner Swapna scheme for students and also made an important announcement. She said “From now on students getting 60% marks will also get the Vivekananda Scholarship”
