Derek O’Brien reacts to JP Nadda’s statement

News Desk: All India Trinamool Congress national spokesperson Derek O’Brien countered JP Nadda’s controversial statement that he made yesterday regarding the ruling party’s policies, i.e., Trinamool following ‘anti-hindu’ policies to secure their rule in Bengal.

Derek O’Brien, on Nadda’s hate speech, said

  1.  The state government has constructed a four-lane road from National Highway No. 34 at a cost of 41 crore. Electrification at a cost of 11 crore. 116 crore has been spent on water supply system.

2.  Rations are being given to 100 million people in the state under the food partner project. Free rice and wheat              till June 2021 in Covid situation.

3.  Ayushman Bharat is a copy of the 2016 ‘Swasth Sathi” scheme. In the ‘Swasth Sathi” scheme the State took                the responsibility of the total cost whereas in Ayushman Bharat Center would bear 60% and the state 40%.                  ‘Swasth Sathi” benefited 7.5 crores people whereas Ayushman Bharat benefited 12.5 crores people of the                      nation.

4.  From June to August, the state government has distributed 12 lakh credit cards for the development of                         farmers in these three months. The farmers of Bengal also get the benefit of crop insurance.
