News Desk: Addressing a rally at Dhanekhali on Saturday, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the rally.
He said “Do I need to learn Hindutva from Yogi Adityanath? A lot of rape and violence takes place in his state. We should learn Hinduism from Swami Vivekananda and Ramkrishna. They taught us to love human beings. And only Mamata Banerjee do that”
He added “No BJP leader from West Bengal was there during Amphan and Corona. Only Mamata Banerjee worked for people in that situation”
He also took a dig at PM Modi and MP Locket Chatterjee. “BJP calls us Bangladeshi if we say ‘Joy Bangla’ in Bengal. PM said ‘Joy Bangla’ in Bangladesh standing next to their President. Then how patriotic is he? Put me behind the bars if I’m wrong. Let them see how much rice in how much grain”
“The MP here knows two things – criticizing Mamata Banerjee and flattering Delhi ministers. Only TMC did development. Stand in line and vote on 6th April. Get free ration for the next five years” he added.
