Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee has been summoned again in the recruitment corruption case. A notice has been sent to him to appear at the CGO complex on October 9. Along with that, Abhishek Banerjee’s wife Rujira Banerjee was also summoned by the ED. It is reported that she has been sent a notice to appear at the CGO complex in Salt Lake on October 11.
According to sources, ED officials want to record Rujira Banerjee’s statement. They claim that the ED has received some new information in the teacher recruitment corruption case. Based on that they want to interrogate Rujira Banerjee. And her speech may also be recorded.
