Debjit Mukherjee: Delhi police evicted TMC workers and supporters from Rajghat ahead of time. Allegations of disorder are being raised.
Abhishek Banerjee came out of Rajghat and faced the journalists. He said, “For a long time, I have tried to come to Delhi and hold a meeting against insulting Bengal. The chief minister has met with the prime minister several times. She wrote letters. But to no avail.” Putting the blame for the Bankura accident on the shoulders of center, he said, “This incident would not have happened if there were houses under Awas Yojana.”
He added, “After every 10 minutes, the police was creating problems. Delhi police tortured our workers.”
