TMC accuses Delhi Police of biasness

Debjit Mukherjee: While the TMC sit-in protest against the Center is going on at Rajghat, job seekers are taking a stand against the state to protest against the deprivation. Primary job aspirants of South 24 Parganas sit in a sit-in protest against the deprivation of the state government at Jantar Mantar on Gandhi Jayanti on Monday.

However, allegations of biasness have been raised against the Delhi Police for allowing job seekers to protest at Jantar Mantar on this day. Because the TMC also sought permission to stage a sit-in at Jantar Mantra. But they did not get permission.

Delhi Police has allowed the primary job aspirants of South 24 Parganas to stage protest for 30 minutes at Jantar Mantar. Protesters are job seekers of 2009. After Jantar Mantar they are supposed to go to Rajghat. On Gandhi’s birthday there, they will pay homage at Gandhiji’s memorial. They want to meet Abhishek Banerjee and will complain to him about corruption and deprivation.
