Debjit Mukherjee: “Even if Uniform Civil Code is introduced, religious practices of any religion will not be hindered,” assured Law Commission chief Rituraj Awasthi, dismissing all fears.
Law commission chairperson said, “So many people have given their opinion on Uniform Civil Code that it is taking time to look into it all. Not only from India but also from abroad. We are looking into it all. But we are sure of one thing, even if uniform civil code is introduced, religious practices of any religion will not be hindered.”
