Etawah Deputy CMO’s post triggered controversy, Bajrang Dal demanded action

News Desk: A religious post created and uploaded on social media platforms by the deputy CMO of Etawah triggered a controversy on Wednesday. Deputy CMO Dr Srinivas Yadav allegedly made derogatory remarks about Hindu deities as well as RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in a group named Sewa which went viral on social media on Wednesday.

Media in-charge of the BJP Etawah unit Rohit Shakya requested Additional DG Kanpur Zone, IG (Kanpur Range) and Etawah SSP to take legal action against the officer over the “derogatory comments” after which the cyber cell of Etawah police started an investigation. Taking cognisance of the episode, Etawah  SSP Sirti Prashant Kumar also ordered an inquiry.

As per reports, UP vice-president of Sewa Sansthan and Deputy CMO Dr Srinivas Yadav wrote a post abusing RSS leaders and Hindu deities on WhatsApp. The post said, “RSS and Mohan Bhagwat want to bring Hinduism, on which the whole world laughs when they come to know that in India  monkeys fly in the air, bears build bridges, the trunk of an elephant hangs on a man’s neck which the prime minister describes as the world’s first plastic surgery. Without sexual intercourse, children are born with the blessings of God, 200 million people go to bed hungry at night and tonnes of milk is dumped into the drains in the name of faith. People in temples plead for their safety by paying bribes and the priest of the same temple keeps the temple locked at night if the God of that temple is not stolen. There are 33 crore gods and goddesses, yet they do not win Olympic medals, those who believe in these gods and goddesses are getting poorer and those who never went to the temple run away with thousands of crores of rupees. Mankind does not care about worshiping animals. You find out by drinking water from the hands of men and also drinking the urine of animals. They call the cow a mother but never call the bull a father.”

The post also made several comments on the caste system, communal feelings and other issues. Rohit Shakya complained to the government and demanded action against the officer. He alleged that the use of such terminology against any religion and sect by the deputy CMO shows a perverted mentality. Bajrang Dal’s Rajnish Mishra also tweeted demanding action against the deputy CMO.
