News Desk: On the occasion of ” FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN ” a 10 Km long run/walk was organised by all batallions under Sector Headquarter Krishnanagar at Seemanagar, Mahatpur camp and bordering area on 01 October 2020. The 10 Km long run/walk was flagged off by respective commander of battalions at battalion headquarters and company commanders in the border. 14 officer’s, 120 Subordinate officer’s and 544 troops total 678 participated in the run.
This Fit India Freedom Run is to create awareness about the personel health and fitness. At the same time this run also gives a message to all countryman that COVID – 19 pandemic can only be overcoming by involving oneself in physical exercise and remaining fit.
BSF is the largest border guarding force in world & known for its tough duty. To survive in those tough terrain BSF has adopted fitness as an integral part of routine.
