Governor on deterioration of human rights

News Desk: Governor Jagdeep Dhankar took to Twitter to slam chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her government on the deterioration of human rights in the state. He also hold West Bengal police, Kolkata police and the chairman of the State Human Rights Commission equally responsible for the current scenario.

Tagging the official accounts of the chief minister, West Bengal and Kolkata police he tweeted “The biggest victim in West Bengal is human rights. And it is most during the voting. Intimidation of opponents, detention is an ‘open secret’ here. The chairman of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission , the body responsible for protecting the rights, is a patient in the “life support system”

In another tweet he said Mamata Banerjee ‘s government is trying to make all institutions, including the Raj Bhavan, impotent . The balcony of power must be sanitized to free it from the dangers of occupation and democracy”
