News Desk: The wait is over. ODI World Cup 2023 has finally started.Last year’s finalists England and New Zealand kicked off their World Cup campaign on the first day’s match.
Kiwis won the toss and decided to bowl at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. England scored 282 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Chasing a target of 283 runs, New Zealand lost the wicket of Will Young early on. But the unbroken partnership of experienced Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra took the team to victory in 36.2 overs.
