Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee returned to Kolkata from Delhi on Wednesday. Standing at the airport, he once again challenged the central government. In Abhishek’s words, “It was a trailer in Delhi. I will take lakhs of people under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and gather in Delhi. Let’s see what they do?”
ED, CBI are repeatedly summoning Abhishek and his family members. On this he said, “They have summoned me, my wife before. In one case, the Supreme Court gave me protection, so they cannot do anything. In another case, they are summoning me. If there is evidence against me, submit it to the court. I am not challenging the agency, but the agencies under Prime Minister and Home Minister. I am challenging them.”
