Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: ED has summoned TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s father Amit Banerjee and mother Lata Banerjee in the Leaps and Bounds case. They have been summoned to the ED office next week.
It should be noted that at the beginning of this week, ED, CBI officers were summoned to the court by Calcutta High Court Judge Amrita Sinha. There, the judge wanted to know about the assets of mother Lata Banerjee. It is known that she was also one of the directors of Leaps and Bounds. Why did the central investigators not gave importance to her property in this situation? This question was raised by Justice Sinha. She directed to give this information to the court by September 29.
