News Desk: The All India Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee slammed the Yogi Adityanath government over the gang rape that took place in the Hathras district in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier the arch rivals of the Modi Government, the Gandhis took to Twitter to attack the ‘Jungle Raj’ in the state. Mamata Banerjee did the same too.
On Thursday the chief minister took a dig at the Yogi government on Twitter and condemned the inhuman act. She tweeted “Have no words to condemn the barbaric and shameful incident at Hathras involving a young Dalit girl. My deepest condolences to the family. More shameful is the forceful cremation without the family’s presence or consent, exposing those who use slogans and lofty promises for votes”
Criticism also came from the leader of Trinamool Youth Association Abhishek Banerjee. He said that there’s no humanity left in Narendra Modi and if he has, then he should start speaking in favour of Dalits now.
