News Desk: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called suspension of 8 Rajya Sabha MPs ‘unfortunate’. It includes Bengal Government’s Derek O’Brien and Dola Sen. Brien got suspended by Venkaiah Naidu for raising voice against the farm bills.
On this Mamata Banerjee tweeted “Suspension of the eight MPs who fought to protect farmers’ interests is unfortunate and reflective of this autocratic government’s mindset that doesn’t respect democratic norms and principles. We won’t bow down and we’ll fight this fascist government in Parliament and on the streets”
Punjab and Haryana farmers already started protesting on the streets against the farm bills.
