News Desk: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) MLA Aminul Islam said that West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, at present, is the only leader who can fight the Modi-Shah duo and BJP. He also said that his party is ready to make an alliance with the TMC if Mamata Banerjee wants.

“An atmosphere has been created in the whole country regarding Mamata Banerjee. She is the only politician in the country who can fight against the BJP.
In the last assembly polls in West Bengal, the BJP had used all forces to defeat Mamata, even Prime Minister Modi had addressed several rallies. Amit Shah camped in Bengal, but they failed. Even after doing everything, BJP could not stand in front of Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal.
We have a good relation with Mamata Banerjee. Our former president is now cabinet minister in Mamata Banerjee government. If Mamata Banerjee will officially invite us, then we will discuss it in our party forum.
If our party workers and leaders want then it is possible to make an alliance with the TMC. We now have no relation with the Congress party”

“If the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) becomes stronger and MK Stalin, Mamata Banerjee join and all regional forces will join in a single platform then a non-government may be formed. The Congress party is not in the position to face the BJP party alone at this moment.
In Assam, they broke up an alliance with us. Still, they have time to move ahead with regional parties”
