Scuffle ahead of polling in Nandigram

News Desk: There is a scuffle ahead of polling in Nandigram on April 1. On Monday, an attempt was made to attack the convoy of BJP candidate and West Bengal veteran Suvendu Adhikari, returning from an election meeting. It is being told that TMC workers stopped the path of the convoy and shouted slogans along the way. Some activists ran behind the vehicles with the poles in the flag, but the security personnel evacuated safely.

In a video, it is seen that a large number of people raising the TMC flag stop the coffee and shout slogans. These people also try to attack the trains. However, no one is hurt by anyone. Security personnel swiftly evacuated the convoy.

Suvendu Adhikari, who joined BJP after leaving Trinamool Congress at the end of last year, enjoys Z-category security. Based on the IB report and the Threat Perception, the Ministry of Home Affairs has given this protection to Shubhendu. The CISF’s 16 armed commandos and pilots and escort vehicles provide security under the Z category protection.
