Those making allegations of corruption are the ones who opened fire at Ram devotees in the past: BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj

News Desk: BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj said that those who are making allegations of corruption in the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are welcome to withdraw their donation by producing the receipts. The saffron party leader also attacked the Opposition saying that the leaders who are now levelling allegations are the ones who had opened fire at Ram devotees in the past.

“They had said that they will not even allow a bird near the Babri mosque. Their conceit has been given a befitting answer and a magnificent temple is coming up at the Ram Janmabhoomi site. Such people have nothing else to do except make baseless allegations,”  Maharaj was quoted as saying.

He further asserted that as far as Champat Rai, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary, is concerned, he has dedicated his entire life to Lord Rama.

“It is useless to even accuse such a person. Still, if Sanjay Singh of AAP has donated something for the Ram temple, he can take his donation back by showing the receipt. Even if Akhilesh Yadav has donated, he can take back his donation by showing us the receipt. These are the people who strongly opposed the Ram temple,” the Unnao MP said.

Amid the ongoing row over land-grabbing allegations against the Ram Mandir Trust, Shiv Sena on Thursday came out in support and stated that the Ram Mandir Trust’s were justified. Interacting with the media, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut dismissed the allegations against the trust. He added that whatever answers the Ram Mandir Trust has given are ‘correct’.

“We do not need anyone’s knowledge on the subject of Ram Mandir. The question that has been asked should be answered. I think the answer given by the trust is correct,” said Sanjay Raut.
