News Desk: TMC and BJP workers clashed around 11:30 am on Friday in the Cossipore railway quarter area over the hanging dead body of BJP activist Arjun Chaurasia at an abandoned railway accommodation in the Kashipur railway colony area near Tala Bridge. Police were prevented from retrieving the body. Eventually the police charged with batons to bring the situation under control.
It is learned that the clashes took place in the presence of MLA Atin Ghosh. Go back slogans were raised by the workers of the two groups. Kalyan Chaubey and Dilip Ghosh were also present on the spot.
