TMC asked Supreme Court to stay away from the post-poll violence issue in West Bengal

News Desk: A day ahead of the hearing, the West Bengal government has asked the Supreme Court to stay away from the post-poll violence issue. Mamata Banerjee’s government said that the High Court has already seized the issue. They also added that the situation has improved after the Model Code of Conduct was lifted.

After the Declaration of Assembly Poll Result 2021, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the Bengal government on a plea seeking an investigation into post-poll violence on which Mamata government has asked SC to stay away from this issue.
