News Desk: Addressing a rally in South 24 Parganas district, TMC MP from Diamond Harbour Abhishek Banerjee claimed that the TMC will form the government for the third time and they will stay in power for 50 years. He also claimed that the TMC will win with 250+ seats.
He said “West Bengal will elect Mamata Banerjee as Chief Minister for a third time and the Trinamool will stay in power for 50 years. We will win with 250+ seats. BJP will struggle to cross double figures. They are applying 500 to fight Mamata Banerjee but still struggling. They are buying votes in Bengal. Take the money from them but vote for TMC”
He also said “When people suffered suffered due to Amphan, Amit Shah ji was not here. Only Mamata Banerjee helped those people. Even Dilip Ghosh’s family stood in line to apply for the Swasthya Sathi”
He added “Even after my throat is cut I will say Jai Bangla & Jai Mamata Banerjee. No matter what, Mamata Banerjee will not bow down her head before Delhi”
On Dinesh Trivedi’s resignation from Rajya Sabha, “Dinesh Trivedi said he was feeling suffocated. So let him go and get admitted in BJP’s ICU”
On the outsider issue he said “BJP leaders from North India are a bunch of outsiders. They are not aware of the culture of Bengal. They spread fake news to confuse people. Why is Amit Shah ji scared of taking name? I’m saying Dilip Ghosh is a goon. Kailash Vijayvargiya is an outsider”
On Dilip Ghosh’s remarks on Maa Durga, he said “Dilip Ghosh has insulted Maa Durga. They say Jai Shri Ram and not Jai Siya Ram. They don’t know how to respect women. But let me tell you we’ll make them say Jai Siya Ram. See the way the BJP showed disrespect to Mamata Banerjee at the birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Victoria Memorial in the city”
He added “Let me say our chief minister Mamata Banerjee will stand there like Maa Durga to fight against the BJP which has weapons like the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate”
On Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks on CAA, he said “PM Modi and BJP are misleading our country on CAA. They have said CAA will be implemented after the vaccination drive. CAA passed in 2019 Dec. It has been two years. Now they are saying it will be implemented after vaccination drive, it means it’s not happening in reality. They are promising to give citizenship to the Matuas. If Matuas are not citizens, how did you become the PM with their votes? If they are illegal, you are illegal too. You must resign. HM too must resign”
On disengagement in LAC, he said “Why don’t you dare to go to Arunachal and wash off Chinese infiltrators from our land? We want strict action against the infiltrators – be it from Pak, China, Nepal, Bangladesh. Chinese are having control over Galwan valley and Prime Minister & Home Minister are saying they will drive away infiltrators from Bengal. Whom are they fooling? PM is spreading fake news and trying to win elections as he had done previously”
On Amit Shah’s Rs 18,000 remarks, he said “BJP is saying that each farmer of the state will get Rs 18,000 if voted to power….But Bengal will never sell its spine to the BJP. West Bengal is the only state where people are getting free ration and education”
He added “BJP should first think of Gujarat, UP and other states. No need to worry about Bengal. Outsiders will not rule Bengal”
