Abhishek Banerjee issued direct warning to BJP

News Desk: Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamool Congress leader and nephew of Mamata Banerjee, has said that the West Bengal chief minister has suffered a “grave injury” and a “major crack” during her election campaigning visit to Nandigram on Wednesday.

Upping the offensive against his political rivals, Mamata’s nephew issued a direct warning to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), asking the saffron camp to brace themselves for the upcoming elections.

“BJP4Bengal, Brace yourselves to see the power of people of BENGAL on Sunday, May 2nd. Get READY!!!” posted Abhishek Banerjee from his official handle on Twitter.

After leaving Kolkata’s SSKM Hospital where his aunt has been admitted, Abhishek said: “She has gone for an MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging scans produce detailed images of the organs and tissues in the body). There is a grave injury and she’s suffered a major crack. We are waiting for the medical reports.”
