“CBI should immediately recover the stolen Nobel Prize of Rabindranath Tagore or the state will take over” CM Mamata Banerjee adamant on Nobel Prize incident

News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is adamant on the principle that “The CBI should immediately recover the stolen Nobel Prize of Rabindranath Tagore or the state will take over”.

Incidentally, on the morning of March 25, 2004, it was reported that the Nobel Medal had been stolen from the Rabindranath Tagore Museum. The CBI took charge six days later. Due to lack of sources, the court allowed the closure of the investigation on August 5, 2010. Despite announcing a prize of Rs 10 lakh, there was no gain.
