Mamata Banerjee: Experienced nurses will be promoted to practitioner sisters, vaccination for mothers with children below 12

News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday hold a meeting to review the situation of SSKM Hospital. She announced “To prevent the dearth of doctors, we will promote experienced nurses to practitioner sisters”

“We are using the Kwak doctors in villages, so that there is no shortage of doctor there” she added.

Apart from prevention of doctor shortage, she also said said that the state government has arranged 10,000 extra beds in hospitals and is also prioritising vaccination for mothers with children below 12.
