Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s announcement from Panagarh

News Desk: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, on Wednesday, inaugurated the foundation stone of a factory in Pangarh. From there, she addressed the state and announced the upcoming projects of the state government.

She started with appreciating the efforts of the West Bengal Police on Police Day and after that she went on with her upcoming projects.

Production of ethanol in the state

She said “Biofuels like ethanol will be produced in Bengal. Fuel will be made from broken rice. More than 48,000 people will get jobs. One and a half thousand crore investment will come in the state”

Creation of Data Center Industry

She said “Data center industry will be created in the state. The new goal of the state in the new data industry policy is to build Bengal as a hub for information management and collection. So that Bengal can meet the information needs of Eastern India as well as Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. The state government will help the data centers in every possible way. Help will also be provided to get simple certificates starting from approval”

“We hope to build a 400-megawatt data center in Bengal in the next five years. There will be 24,000 jobs in the field of information technology” she added.

Extension of bank hours for Lakshmi Bhandar

About this, she made a major announcement “Banks will operate till 5pm for creating Lakshmi Bhandar accounts”

40% reduction in poverty in times of pandemic

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also said “In times of pandemic, we reduced the poverty by 40%. When the nation is suffering from unemployment, recruitment in the state increased by 40%”

Encouraged people to open poultry business

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also encouraged people to start poultry business. “Government will give subsidy. Bank will give loan. Start this business. Why import eggs from outside? Be self-reliant” she said.

Apart from her upcoming projects, she also assured people of vaccine and asked people to stay safe and wear mask.
