Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: BJP leader and resident of Shyampukur assembly constituency Sunil Singh’s part of house is bulldozed by KMC. The BJP councilors got into a physical fight with the TMC councilors in the KMC.
As soon as the session ended, the press conference of the BJP leaders started in the Kolkata Municipality. BJP councilors were accused of attacking the TMC leaders when they tried to stop the press conference. Both sides got involved in a scuffle on Saturday. BJP councilor Sajal Ghosh’s Central Security Force jawans were accused of attacking the TMC councillors. However, Sajal Ghosh said the Central Security Forces jawans acted as per the instructions given to them.
BJP leader Sunil Singh alleged that his house was bulldozed by the TMC-led Kolkata Municipal Corporation for political reasons. Although the municipality claims, not the house, the illegal part of the house has been bulldozed.
