Debjit Mukherjee: Conflict again in Manipur. The incident took place on Friday around 4:30 am in Thowai Kuki village of Ukhrul district. Three members of the Kuki community have died.
SP N Vasum of Ukhrul said, “Some miscreants fired at the village guards from the area adjacent to the hill. Three Kuki persons died on the spot. No one was injured in the incident yet. However, security has been tightened in the area. A search for the culprits has already started.”
