Commemoration of Martyr jawan of Indian CRPF and former student Syed Maslul Karim at Garh Mandaran High School

Sk Md Imran, Hooghly: A commemoration ceremony was held in Garh Mandaran High School of Goghat on Friday in memory of the martyred Indian CRPF jawan and former student of that school.

On this day, the school authority gave a memorial honor to Anjumonara Begum, the wife of the martyred jawan. It is known that the former student of this school Syed Maslul Karim’s house is in Mandaran of Goghat. He passed his secondary from this school in 1965. Syed Maslul Karim joined the CRPF in 1976 at the age of 21. He was martyred on 3 October 1997 in a landmine attack by terrorist in the Rajouri Valley of Kashmir while serving in 84, BN CRPF. A plaque has already been unveiled in the school premises in his memory. School president Babar Ali, school principal Sushant Kumar Ghoshal, Martyr’s wife Anjum Ara Begum and others were present on Friday.

Martyr Syed Maslul Karim’s wife Anjumonara Begum delivered a special speech about his sacrifice for the motherland of India. Also on this day he demanded to build a martyr toran or memorial pillar in his name at Kamarpukur-Mandaran Connection road.
