News Desk: All India Trinamool Congress chief national spokesperson Derek O’Brien attacks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party central government in the parliament on the PM Cares Fund. He mocked it as “PM’s Couldn’t-Care-Less fund”
He said the government had announced a 21-day lockdown with just four-hour notice and “no preparation” and also said that out of every Rs 100/- spent on public health, Rs 63/- came from states and only Rs 37/- from the central government.
Mr O’Brien said “The problem is when things are going good, you want to take the credit. When things are tough, you start talking about chief ministers”
He added “The most opaque, dark fund in the world. It is called the Prime Minister’s Couldn’t-Care-Less Fund…..Oh I said the name wrong, OK!”
