Debjit Mukherjee: After exposing Nupur Sharma’s exploits, this time an FIR has been filed against ‘Fact Checker’ and Alt News co-founder and journalist Mohammad Zubair for exposing the identity of a bullied Muslim student in Muzaffarnagar.
On Friday, the National Child Protection Commission warned against making the identity of victims public. Commission chairperson Priyank Kanungo was particularly concerned about the posting of the video of the second class student being beaten on social media. “Don’t be part of the crime by revealing the identity of children,” he said.
