“I will handle this Covid storm too. I need cooperation from all of you”: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

News Desk: The Madras High Court has sharply reprimanded the Election Commission over the Corona situation. In response to the directive, TMC leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Election Commission was following the BJP’s instructions. She also said that she will handle the Covid situation this time too.

She said, “I welcome the order of the Madras High Court. The court made it clear that the commission could not avoid responsibility. Kerala, Tamil Nadu in one round, Assam in two rounds, why West Bengal in eight rounds? To kill people? The BJP is continuing its campaign. Advertising thousands of crores of rupees. During the third round of voting, it was clear that the Covid situation was deteriorating. I wrote a letter and asked him to reduce the number of votes. But the commission did not listen to that demand”

“The CRPF has ransacked our worker’s house in Raninagar. We will not leave, we will go to court. The BJP candidate of South Asansol is driving 28 vehicles but the CRPF is sitting in our camp. They have arrested our people so that they can’t do any work. Remember TMC will get more than 200 seats. I will handle this Covid storm too. I need cooperation from all of you” she added.
