News Desk: Excitements were high in Keshpur when a bike rider was injured in a bus collision. The accident happened around 12 noon on Saturday near twelve miles of Keshpur. According to eyewitnesses,
Kharagpur- Tarakeswar (Abhiyan) super fast bus hit a bike rider at Twelve Miles in Keshpur while the bus is going to Tarakeswar from Kharagpur. The house of bike rider Fakir Mohammad (55) is in Dogachhia village of Keshpur.
The locals picked up the bike rider from the spot and admitted him to Medinipur Sadar Hospital in critical condition. Locals blocked road at Keshpur Hospital more and protested. When the police of Keshpur police station came and assured to investigate the incident quickly and pay compensation, the Protestants went up and the situation came under control. Locals complain that the “Abhiyan” bus always goes too fast and the bus conductor misbehaves with students and passengers.
