News Desk: Haryana Minister Anil Vij sees “some hidden agenda” behind farmers’ protest saying the agitation is not about the three farm laws.
Vij said that Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is always ready for talks and they’ve also met 11-12 times.
“Farmer leaders can’t tell their objections in the laws. This clarifies that it’s not about three laws but some hidden agenda is there,” he added.
‘We have repeatedly asked them to tell the objections in the provisions with logic’
This statement comes after Tomar on Wednesday expressed readiness to resume the dialogue to resolve their objections to the three farm laws.
“Whenever farmers want discussions, the government of India will be ready for discussion. But we have repeatedly asked them to tell the objections in the provisions with logic. We will listen and find a solution,” he had said.
